2nd August – End of Cruise
It is difficult to summarise the time away. At time of writing Day 1 and our departure from Mercury Marina seems quite distant. We had packed a lot into the 18 or so days away. Visited many ports, sailed in very varied conditions, changes of crew, visited by dolphins but what stands out above all else was the friendships made and renewed. The Summer Cruise is about stretching yourself but it is also about sharing passion and enjoyment of sailing and travelling to new places with new people. You finish feeling a real sense of achievement, with spirits fortified and a desire to do it again.
